About the Author
Elaine Calloway is an author of paranormal and fantasy tales set in iconic places. She grew up in New Orleans and can still do a Cajun accent on request. Currently she resides in the Southeast with her family. When she's not writing books, she enjoys movies, reading, and going to places with visually inspiring colors.

I am awaiting the release of your book with baited breath. Having grown up in NOLA, and writing my series based there, I am excited to read a book by another native. Went back there in September to do research. I didn’t want any errors because my memories are all post-Katrina. I really miss my city.

Thanks! The print one is more expensive, FYI. Unfortunately that isn’t my doing. To set up the print-on-demand feature, they set the price high for their costs, and I only added a tiny bit to have some profit margin. But yes, order the print if you wish, and I’d be happy to sign it!
Ooooh – also, on the print format, some of the chapter breaks may not be on new pages. That was a weird thing with setting it all up. I could have fixed the couple of times in the book where that occurred, but it would have meant redoing the entire submission, which was already making me pull my hair out

thank you! Confetti received! I hope the series does well. It combines 2 parts: Elementals and Fallen Angels, in a way that hasn’t been done before. Many industry folks liked it, but weren’t sure how it fit into their “pegged” marketing niches. Hence why I decided to just do it on my own

I had so much industry feedback that was positive, but as the big publishers narrowed their focus and submissions, all their comments were things like, “I like this, I just have no idea how to market it, but I love your story and characters and…and…”
It was time to just take the reins into my own hands, yanno?

You rock! The layout of some of the chapter beginnings acted weird in the print copy, everything is correct but a few new chapters may not start on a new page. That was the only funky thing w/the print setup. Otherwise, hope you enjoy and I will sign it for you if you want! I’ll even sign it in CAJUN!
